PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply structure a heating device which makes a comfortable heated space by generating natural convection, and to easily maintain and manage the heating device. SOLUTION: In this heating device A, a panel heater 20 long in the longitudinal direction of a groove-like recessed part 10 provided along a wall C in a floor D is provided inside the groove-like recessed part 10, so that a panel face 21 of the panel heater 20 faces a groove-like recessed part side face 10a provided in the longitudinal direction of the groove-like recessed part 10, and that an opening part 11 of the groove-like recessed part 10 is covered by a latticed lid body 30. A partitioning plate 40 is suspended from the latticed lid body 30 so as to cover the front of a panel face 21a' facing a groove-like recessed part side face 10a' on the wall C side in the panel heater 20.
