PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously discharge warm water of different temperatures and, even if stopping one discharge, to prevent its influence on the other hot water temperature discharged in a water heater of a type discharging warm water of a set temperature from a first hot water discharge pipe 10 by mixing water from a water supply pipe 12 with high temperature water heated by a main heat exchanger 11 at a mixing part 33, and having a discharged hot water temperature sensor 16 for detecting that the warm water discharged from the first hot water discharge pipe 10 reaches the set temperature, on a downstream side of the mixing part 33. SOLUTION: This water heater is provided with a branch channel 22 branched from the first hot water discharge pipe 10 on the downstream side of the discharged hot water temperature sensor 16, a sub heat exchanger 21 further heating warm water in the branch channel 22, and a second hot water discharge pipe 20 discharging hot water heated by the sub heat exchanger 21.
