RADIO LAN POWER-SAVING CONTROL METHOD, RADIO BASE STATION DEVICE, AND RADIO TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power saving in a radio terminal device under power saving control. SOLUTION: When the radio terminal device STA under power saving control (PS mode) is being connected to a radio base station device AP, the AP sets a period of a multiple of the transmission period of a special beacon signal as a period for broadcast transmission and includes the period included in the special beacon signal (DTIM beacon) as information, and notifies it to the STA that is operating in the PS mode but not multicast data communication. The STA operating in the PS mode but not performing multicast data communication acquires the period in the included in the special beacon signal, transits from a sleep state to an awake one according to the period included in the DTIM beacon, and performs transmission/reception operation cyclically at that period.
