PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system which controls consumption of a DC power supply by correctly detecting a current inputted from the DC power supply to a chopper circuit. SOLUTION: The power supply system includes: a DC power supply 1; a chopper circuit 2 for outputting the input voltage from the DC power supply 1 while transforming; a shunt resistor 3 interposed between the DC power supply 1 and the chopper circuit 2 in order to detect a current inputted from the DC power supply 1 to the chopper circuit 2; and a capacitor 4 being charged by the chopper circuit 2 and supplying a transformed voltage to an external load 7, and controls the switching element 2a in the chopper circuit 2, based on a current value detected by the shunt resistor 3. The power supply system is further provided with a second capacitor 5 in parallel with the chopper circuit 2 between the shunt resistor 3 and the chopper circuit 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
