PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device improved in display quality by preventing perpendicular crosstalk failure and color fading.SOLUTION: A display device comprises a display panel on which a plurality of pixels are arrayed and which includes a thin-film transistor to which each element is linked to gate lines and data lines and display elements linked to the thin-film transistor; a drive voltage generator that generates a gate-on voltage and a plurality of gate-off voltages; a timing controller that divides an initial drive section into a plurality of set sections and so performs control as to output gate-off voltages each matching one or another of the set sections; and a gate drive circuit that generates gate signals by using the gate-on voltage and the gate-off voltages each matching one or another of the set sections and drives the gate lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
