PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which improves appearance by making a reception part of a damper inconspicuous, and which improves intensity of the reception part of the damper.SOLUTION: An electric washing machine includes: a top cover placed on a washing machine body upper part; a lid body pivotally supported in a rotatably manner around a lid body support shaft between a fully-open position and a fully-closed position on a top surface of the top cover; a rotary damping damper having a damper body and a damper shaft pivotally supported at the damper body in a rotatable manner, and for imparting viscous resistance between the damper body and the damper shaft; and a damper reception part for supporting the damper shaft to the top cover. A damper reception metal fitting coming into contact with the damper shaft is mounted on the inside of the damper reception part, and the damper reception part is integrally formed with the top cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
