摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a metal member for a solid oxide fuel battery, which makes it possible to prevent the occurrence of coating layer delamination or cracking even in metal forming; and a method for manufacturing such a metal member.SOLUTION: A metal member for a solid oxide fuel battery comprises: a ferritic stainless steel plate; and a Mn-Cu based alloy plate on the side of at least one of front and rear faces of the ferritic stainless steel plate, which includes 10-50 mass% of Cu and 0-20 mass% of Ni with the balance consisting of Mn and inevitable impurities. The metal member has a cross-sectional structure of Mn-Cu based alloy layer/ferritic stainless steel plate. The metal member has a diffusion layer at an interface of the ferritic stainless steel plate and the Mn-Cu based alloy layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
