Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention is a network access method, comprising: when it is detected that no visited PLMN network identifier is present in a local storage device of a mobile communications terminal, sending to a server a request to obtain shared network information; receiving shared network information sent by the shared server in response to the request, and obtaining the network identifier of the visited PLMN from the shared network information; adding the visited PLMN network identifier to an EPLMN list; performing network access according to said EPLMN list. Using the present invention, it is possible, by means of a network and according to visit location information, to download shared network information containing a VPLMN and then obtain the VPLMN, and add the VPLMN to an EPLMN list. When a mobile communications terminal performs a network search at a visit location using an RPLMN, the searched RPLMN is equivalent to the VPLMN, thus the mobile communications terminal may stay in the cell and attempt to initiate a network search and registration process, accelerating the search for a network. |
