PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which detect whether or not a vehicle responds appropriately to a control command (a control instruction) of a driver.SOLUTION: The control system, which relates to a control system for a vehicle (100), comprises: control means that can monitor accelerator control signals of the vehicle and control power trains of the vehicle having principal power means (121 and 123) to operate the trains so that the power trains apply torque amounts to one or more wheels (111, 112, 114 and 115) of the vehicle (100) responding to the accelerator control signals; and means that determines whether or not measured acceleration of the vehicle and the accelerator control signals have a predicted correlation. The control means, if the measured acceleration and the acceleration control signals do not have the predicted correlation, can operate the power trains so that the trains are commanded to change torque amounts to be applied to the one or more wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
