PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness design apparatus configured to design a wire harness in consideration of the influence of a component on a wire harness, and a design method.SOLUTION: A wire harness design apparatus 1 includes: receiving means 20 of receiving harness information; first conversion means 21 which converts three-dimensional CAD data of a component which has an influence on a wire harness in accordance with a distance from the wire harness, out of components excluding the wire harness, to extended three-dimensional CAD data extended to a predetermined range; display means 22 of displaying three-dimensional images on a screen, on the basis of unextended three-dimensional CAD data and the extended three-dimensional CAD data; determination means 23 which routes a three-dimensional image of the wire harness in a space between the displayed three-dimensional images, to determine a route of the wire harness; and second conversion means 24 which converts the wire harness with the determined route to a harness board diagram developed in a two-dimensional manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
