PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of firmly connecting the connection surface of a light source substrate and a substrate fitting surface part.SOLUTION: A light source unit has a tabular plate part 110 extending in a longitudinal direction and attaching a substrate 120b mounted with a light-emitting element to a substrate attachment surface part 111a. With an adhesive 600, a connection surface 121 that is a rear surface of a mounting surface on which the light-emitting element is mounted to the substrate 120b is attached to a substrate attachment surface part 111a. For the substrate attachment surface part 111a, in a connection region 1110 corresponding to the connection surface 121, provided is a recessed part 1111 that the adhesive 600 enters along a long substrate side part 1211 of a connection region 1110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
