PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To track a tracking target with high accuracy even when an object having the same feature as the tracking target exists in a video.SOLUTION: A video analysis device 1 includes a hypothesis generation unit 10 and a hypothesis verification unit 20. The hypothesis generation unit 10 determines a candidate for a tracking target from a video. The hypothesis verification unit 20 verifies the validity of the candidate for the tracking target as a tracking target. This hypothesis verification unit 20 is provided with a spatial reliability calculation unit 21, a temporal reliability calculation unit 22, and a determination unit 23. The spatial reliability calculation unit 21 finds spatial reliability SR on the basis of a hypothesis that the size of the tracking target in a video changes for each frame at a fixed rate. The temporal reliability calculation unit 22 finds temporal reliability TR on the basis of a hypothesis that the position of the tracking target in a video changes for each frame a fixed distance at a time. The determination unit 23 determines whether or not the candidate for the tracking target is a tracking target on the basis of the spatial reliability SR and temporal reliability TR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
