PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system capable of drastically improving an operator's convenience by making a terminal device such as a smartphone have a display function and an operation function that are equivalent to those of a medical device, an operation target, and making it possible to simply and easily perform the medical device's execution of medical treatment by using the terminal device only while securing the degree of freedom of arrangement of the terminal device.SOLUTION: A medical system 1 includes a medical device 11 including first display means 18 and a terminal device 101 including second display means 102, the devices being enabled to communicate with each other by using wire or wireless communication means. The second display means 102 is enabled to perform display equal to or more than display of the first display means 18 at the time of communication connection; the first display means 18 and second display means 102 have operation functions accompanying their displays.
