PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure steam sterilizer that prevents settling of a movable part caused by the unreasonable elastic deformation of packing (deterioration in the resilience of a shape caused by fatigue).SOLUTION: On either the first opposing face 31a of a base part 31 and the second opposing face 32a facing each other with a space part 3s held therebetween in a packing 3, a projecting part 34 projecting toward the other part is formed. Even if, along with the close movement of a cover body 2 facing the opening part 1a of a chamber 1, the movable part 32 is elastically deformed to the base part 31 while the packing 3 adheres with the seal face 5, by contacting the abutted face 34a of the projecting part 34 with the first opposing face 31a of the base part 31a or the other of the second facing face 32a of the movable part 32, the elastic deformation of the movable part 32 toward the base part 32 is suppressed so as not to be bent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
