<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an insecticidal and bactericidal agent for agriculture and horticulture containing Posidonia australis as a sort of seaweed and/or ash of said seaweed as a principal component and preferably mixing with chaff charcoal, etc. CONSTITUTION:The aimed insecticidal and bactericidal agent for agriculture and horticulture is composed of Posidonia australis as a sort of seaweed growing in peripheral sea area of Australia continent in compost state, or dried and crushed state, or further in a state of partially or completely laid in ashes by burning after drying Said formulation is able to be used together with other agricultural chemicals or compost and also able to be used in suitably mixing with soil-improving agent such as perlite, charcoal or vermiculite or chaff charcoal, etc., containing silica. Especially, mixing of chaff charcoal is preferable because bactericidal action is enhanced.</p> |
