The Parent Patent described an injection appliance in which a push rod can be cocked to act on a cartridge by moving a button against the force of a spring. An interlock is provided which permits the push rod to be moved in the cocked position only when this button is in a position where a scale on it, shows that the injection dosage is set at zero.
