PURPOSE:To largely reduce an interfacial peeling phenomenon by disposing specific thin layers at an interface between the inner and intermediate layers of a fishing rod and at an interface between the intermediate and outer layers, respectively. and specifying the linear expansion coefficients of the thin layers. CONSTITUTION:In a fishing rod produced by winding prepregs comprising highly strong fibers impregnated with a synthetic resin in a coaxial state comprising an inner layer 31, an intermediate layer 33 and an outer layer 35, the highly strong fibers being arranged in the circumferential direction in the inner and outer layers, and highly strong fibers being arranged in the axial direction in the intermediate layer, the improvement comprises forming thin layers 37 and 39 at an interface between the inner and intermediate layers and at an interface between intermediate and outer layers, respectively, and further controlling the linear expansion coefficients of the thin layers to a value between the linear expansion coefficients of the inner and intermediate layers and to a value between the linear expansion coefficients of the intermediate and outer layers, respectively, thereby permitting to largely reduce an interfacial peeling phenomenon between the inner and intermediate layers and between the intermediate and outer layers. |
