A relatively flat plate (1) of conductive material has a regular pattern of contact pins (3) projecting at right angles from one face (2), with tips (5) in the shape of truncated pyramids to facilitate insertion into the via holes, making contact at the four sharp edges (4) of each pin. Between the rows of pins, a hole (6) in the centre of the plate accepts a bushing (9) with a knurled rim (10) of slightly larger dia. and a smooth or threaded bore (14) through its centre. USE/ADVANTAGE - With e.g. power transistors drawing substantial currents, simple element withstanding high electrical and mechanical loading can be mfd. at favourable cost and installed easily.
