The probe contains a number of hollow cylindrical resonators (11,12) in series with their axes aligned, coils (31,32,41,42) for supplying the resonators with high frequency power and for receiving a signal from the resonators, and decouplers. The decouplers (13,14) bridge two adjacent resonators to eliminate high frequency coupling between the resonators caused by magneto-electrical high frequency fields in two orthogonal directions in plane perpendicular to the axes. USE/ADVANTAGE - For clinical diagnosis. Interference between coils is eliminated to improve sensitivity of hollow cylindrical resonators.
