PURPOSE:To prevent an outer mold from contacting with a core body when the outer mold is to be embedded in an inner mold after the core body is wound on the inner mold for manufacturing a belt having the core body therein. CONSTITUTION:A base 2 of a core body protecting tool 1 is fixed to an end face of an inner mold 11 and a plurality of core body protecting members 3 which extend radially from the base 2 are arranged on the outside of a core body 13. In that state, an outer mold 15 is embedded in the inner mold with the core body protecting members 3 as a guide, so that contact of the core body 13 and the outer mold 15 can be prevented by the core body protecting members 3.
