<p>PURPOSE:To make an adaptation condition of eyes of a driver surely follow up to decreasing road surface brightness by providing the proper road surface brightness in accordance with a condition of environmental light changed moment by moment. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises an auxiliary headlamp 106a capable of adjusting radiated luminous energy, brightness sensor 102 for detecting brightness of environmental light, computer 101 for obtaining supplemental luminous energy to be radiated by the auxiliary headlamp 106a based on the brightness detected by the brightness sensor 102 and a light distribution control device 105 for performing light distribution control of the auxiliary headlamp 106a based on the supplemental luminous energy. Further in accordance with the brightness detected by the brightness sensor 102, the supplemental luminous energy is obtained, and based on the supplemental luminous energy, by performing light distribution control of the auxiliary headlamp 106a, road surface brightness is slowly decreased.</p> |
