PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a pressurized medium lead to the stroke member chest of a hydraulic device into the spring chests thereof at locations spaced away from the electric components and collect the medium there by the reciprocating movement of the plunger pump piston thereof. SOLUTION: A hydraulic device for a vehicle braking device comprises a plunger pump, a stroke member chest 9, a motor for driving a stroke member, solenoid valves, and reservoirs placed at the inlet of the pump. The reservoirs are each constituted of a cylinder, a reservoir piston held slidable in the cylinder to partition it into a variable storage chest and a spring chest 30b or 31b, a spring for pressing the piston, and a closure member for closing the spring chest. The spring chests 30b and 31b are connected to the inside chest of the motor by way of their pressure compensation passages. The lower portion of the stroke member chest 9 branches out into passages 101, 102 and 103 for leading a fluid leakage, which lead into the spring chests 30b and 31b. |
