PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gas injection molding of fiber-containing resin which can prevent disadvantage in respect to external appearance, such as a sink mark, while ensuring a sufficient strength. SOLUTION: In a method for gas injection molding of fiber-containing resin wherein molten resin containing reinforcing fibers is filled in a cavity and gas is injected from a gas pin 20 into this molten resin so that a molded article be obtained, the gas pin 20 is made to have a gas passage 23 formed between an outer tube part 21 and a core part 22 inserted into this outer tube part 21 and the end part of the outer tube part 21 is made to project to the gas outlet side from the fore end of the core part 22. After injection of the molten resin is started, the cavity is enlarged until it comes to have a capacity corresponding to the molded article, while the gas is injected into the molten resin filled in this cavity, through the gas pin 20. |
