PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of the print operation, occurrence of missing in the way of operation or output of a print medium on which an image of totally different tone is formed when deficiency in the residual quantity of printing agent is detected in the way of print operation. SOLUTION: The method for preparing a data suitable for the print operation of a dot printer from a data to be printed comprises a step (S16) for determining a quantity of printing agent required for printing that data, a step (S17) for acquiring the residual quantity information of printing agent from a printer, and a step (S19) for regulating the data such that formation of dot using the printing agent is controlled by decimating the data, for example, when the residual quantity is deficient. |
