PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of not only the poor cost effectiveness but inferior productivity of the optical components and housing of the conventional optical component holders due to a large number of components and intricate mold structure of them. SOLUTION: The optical component holder is provided with an eyepiece 15 having a pair of ribs 15b and 15c, and the housing 16 having slits 28 consisting of tapered grooves to be inserted with the pair of the ribs and holds the eyepiece with the housing by sandwiching a pair of the ribs by means of the slits. The three points on one surface side in the optical axis direction of the eyepiece 15 of the pair of ribs 15b and 15c are provided with a first plane 31b to a third plane 33b which function as reference planes and the plurality of points on the other surface side in the optical axis direction of the pair of ribs are provided with protrusions 34 and 35 which function as pressing sections. The three points on one surface side corresponding to the reference planes at the three points of the slits 28 are provided with a first receiving surface 47a to a third receiving surface 79b which function as first supporting surfaces and the plurality of points on the other side of the slits are provided with projecting part receiving surfaces 47b and 49c which function as second supporting surfaces.
