ANTIOXIDANT EXHIBITING FREE RADICAL ELIMINATING ACTION, FOOD PREPARATION COMPRISING THE SAME AND COSMETIC PREPARATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antioxidant that has a weak adverse effect and exhibits an excellent free radical eliminating action, a food preparation and a cosmetic preparation.

SOLUTION: The antioxidant having a weak adverse effect and an excellent free radical eliminating action is formed from astaxanthin, ubiquinone, lecithin or lipase and has a polyphenol structure. The astaxanthin used here is preferably derived from a natural product. The ubiquinone is any one selected from coenzymes Q0-Q10. The lipase is a lipase for a food processing. The antioxidant having a weak adverse effect and exhibiting an excellent free radical eliminating action comprises astaxanthin and ubiquinone. The food preparation comprises the antioxidant. The cosmetic preparation comprises the antioxidant.
