DEODORIZATION APPARATUS AND GARBAGE DISPOSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus capable of safely deodorizing an odor gas at a low cost, and a garbage disposer provided with the deodorization apparatus.

SOLUTION: The deodorization filter is provided with a deodorization filter in which the filter base material comprising polyurethane foam having a three-dimensional net-like skeleton structure is carried with the activated carbon particle and the photocatalyst particle; and a UV ray irradiation means for irradiating the deodorization filter with UV ray. The garbage disposer is provided with the deodorization apparatus. The odor gas can be safely deodorized by the deodorization filter having excellent deodorization performance at a low cost without requiring heating/burning.
