<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and elastic unidirectional porous composite having pores connected unidirectionally which is excellent in strength, operability in use, biocompatibility and bone induction property and has anisotropic strength, improved deformation preventing property and improved cell or tissue infiltration property, and also to provide a method for producing the new unidirectional porous composite at low cost with easy processes and little labor. <P>SOLUTION: Composite fiber made of hydroxyapatite/collagen and a buffer solution are mixed.
