The invention relates to a nutraceutical composition that is obtained from natural triterpenes. More specifically, the invention relates to the production of nutraceutical compositions from natural triterpenes comprising at least one of the triterpenes from the group containing maslinic acid and oleanolic acid and/or the salts thereof. Said compositions have numerous applications in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
