PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device that enables to easily connect a binding terminal to a coil terminal. SOLUTION: The contact device 1 has a contact block 2 provided with fixed terminals 21, 21 which respectively have a fixed contact, and a movable contact having moving contacts respectively contacting/separating with/from the corresponding fixed contact; an electromagnet block 3 for driving the movable contact so as to allow each moving contact to contact/separate with/from the corresponding fixed contact; a capsule yoke 6 for extinguishing an arc occurring in the contact block 2 in a short period of time; and a case 7 for storing the contact block 2, the electromagnet block 3, and the capsule yoke 6. The electromagnet block 3 has a coil 50 for generating a magnetic field to drive the movable contact, the binding terminal 52 bound with the end part of each coil 50, and the coil terminal 53 whose base end 53a is connected to the binding terminal 52 and whose tip 53b is protruded from the case 7 to the outside. A window hole 80a is formed to the case 7 so as to make a connected part P between the base end 53a of the coil terminal 53 and the binding terminal 52 face the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
