PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved composition for locking a disk-holding device which improves an interaction with an automated machine used in a distribution process. SOLUTION: A disk-holding device 10 for accommodating hard drive disks 12 is provided with a cover 18 having latch arms 32a and 32b, and the latch arms 32a and 32b are provided with lock tabs 46 which extend in the direction in which they leave the inside of the disk-holding device. The latch arms 32a and 32b are selectively engaged with the lock face 36 of a base bottom part to lock the disk-holding device. The latch arms 32a and 32b are released from locking by operating them in the first direction going forward the inside of the disk-holing device.
