A method and system are provided for improving the isolation characteristics of a combiner. In a system comprising a digital and analog radio signal combiner and a digital transmitter, an analog transmitter, an antenna, and a reject load coupled to the combiner, adjusting an impedance matching device coupled between the reject load and combiner so as to reduce the energy transmitted from the digital transmitter to the analog transmitter through t he combiner.
