An automatic brightness and chromaticity measuring device is provided to by automatically measuring brightness and chromaticity of instrument panels in a non-contact state. An automatic brightness and chromaticity measuring device comprises a measuring unit(10), a microcomputer(20), and an output unit(30). The measuring unit is used to detect brightness of plural instrument panels for an inside of a vehicle automatically. The microcomputer is used to compare detected brightness data with pre-set data and to judge a brightness error of the instrument panel. The output unit is used to output a result judged by the microcomputer. The microcomputer includes a memory(23) and a comparing and judging unit(22). The memory is used to keep a standard brightness value. The comparing and judging unit is used to compare and judge the detected data from the measuring unit with the pre-set data of the memory. The measuring unit has a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) image sensor to detect the brightness by high accuracy and high speed.
