PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning facility with which even in the case of sticking metal and slag around a porous plug, the portion of the porous plug set at the bottom part of a ladle is precisely detected from the inner surface side of the ladle, and only the portion of the porous plug can surely be cleaned from the inner surface side of the ladle. SOLUTION: This cleaning facility is provided with; an optical type camera 6 for taking a picture of the ladle 1; an image-processing device 7 for processing the taken picture with the optical type camera; a calculating device 8 for obtaining the porous plug position at the ladle bottom by calculating, based on the processed data with the image-processing device and the taken picture with the optical type camera; an indication device 9 for indicating by piling up the data inputted from the image-processing device and the calculating device 8; a cleaning lance 5 having the length coming to the bottom of the ladle under state of turning the sideway; and a carriage 4 for cleaning, laying this cleaning lance and according the tip part position of the cleaning lance to the porous plug, based on the data inputted from the indicating device.
