PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waste shot at the time of starting molding operation as much as possible and allow its achievement to be realized by a simple control method when a disk substrate or the like is molded by an in-line screw type injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The in-line screw type injection molding machine controls such that the forward stroke of a screw at the primary injection process is changed so as to gradually increase the amount of cushions for each shot while the injection start position of the screw remains the same until the predetermined number of shots pass after continuous automatic molding operation is started and a plurality of waste shots are made, or until the predetermined number of shots pass after the continuous automatic molding operation is started.
