SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer includes a specimen vessel holder for holding a plurality of specimen vessels along the circumference of a first circle, a reagent vessel holder for holding a plurality of reagent vessels along the circumference of a second circle that is concentric to the first circle and has a diameter different from that of the first circle, a reaction vessel holder that is located under the specimen vessel holder and the reagent vessel holder, and holds a plurality of reaction vessels along the circumference of a third circle crossing the first and second circle when they are projected to a predetermined plane, a specimen dispensing means that has a plurality of delivery mechanisms for specimens disposed correspondingly to each specimen vessel and delivers the specimen stored in the specimen vessel directly under which one of the plurality of reaction vessels is located from the corresponding delivery mechanisms for the specimen, and a reagent dispensing means that has a plurality of delivery mechanisms for a reagent disposed correspondingly to each reaction vessel and delivers the reagent stored in the reagent vessel directly under which one of the plurality of reaction vessels is located from the corresponding delivery mechanisms for the reagent.
