PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gamut cross section acquisition method capable of suppressing the difference between the actual cross section obtained by cutting the gamut of an image formation device by a plane, and the cross section to be acquired, and to provide a gamut cross section acquisition program and a gamut cross section acquisition device.SOLUTION: A gamut cross section acquisition method for acquiring a cross section obtained by cutting the gamut of a MFP by a plane includes a gamut border line segment acquisition processing (S101) for acquiring a gamut border line segment as a reference of the border of gamut, a cross section border line segment acquisition processing (S103) for acquiring a cross section border line segment as a line segment becoming a reference of the border of the cross section, and an end point acquisition processing (S102) for acquiring the end point of the cross section border line segment. The end point acquisition processing is processing for acquiring the intersection of the gamut border line segment acquired by the gamut border line segment acquisition processing, and a plane as an end point, and the cross section border line segment acquisition processing is processing for acquiring a shortest patrol road passing through all end points acquired by end point acquisition processing, and acquiring the line segments constituting a patrol road thus acquired, as a cross section border line segment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
