<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire and lighting unit capable of radiating light to a long distance and exerting effective control with a simple configuration by paying attention to an incident angle of light emitted from a light source to a globe and an output angle of the light. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 1 includes: a light source 2; a cover 3 having a reflective surface R, on an inside thereof, that reflects the light emitted from the light source 2 towards the lower entire perimeter; and a transparent globe 4 that is connected to the bottom of the cover 3, disposed to surround the central axis of the light source 2, and formed to be thicker as going from the lower portion to the upper portion thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
