<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp assembly constituted to inductively receive electric power from a primary coil. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp assembly includes a lamp circuit including a secondary coil and a lamp connected in series. In a first aspect, this lamp circuit includes a capacitor connected in series to the lamp and the secondary coil in order to synchronize to resonate that circuit. In a second aspect, the lamp assembly includes a sealed transparent sleeve that entirely encloses the lamp circuit so that the transparent sleeve is completely closed and unpenetrated. It is preferable that this transparent sleeve is the lamp sleeve itself, and the secondary coil, the capacitor, and any arbitrarily desired starter mechanism are arranged within the interior of that transparent sleeve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
