PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that, in conventional methods, wet heat durability of urethane foam decreases with the increase in the amount of ethylene oxide added.
SOLUTION: In a method in which an active hydrogen component (A) and an organic polyisocyanate component (B) are allowed to react with each other in the presence of a foaming agent (C) containing water, a urethanation catalyst (D), and a foam stabilizer (E) to produce a flexible polyurethane foam, the component (A) contains a polyol (a1), which is a terminal ethylene oxide-added polyether polyol obtained by adding to an active hydrogen-containing compound an alkylene oxide mainly comprising 1,2-alkylene oxide having 3 or more carbon atoms and comprising ethylene oxide, wherein the average addition molar number of ethylene oxide per active hydrogen is 1.5 to 8, and the primary hydroxylation rate of terminal hydroxyl groups is 75% or more.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
