The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to measure a distance for a vehicle. The method comprises: a step of obtaining a stereo image through a stereo camera; a step of extracting outline information from the stereo image; a step of calculating time difference information using the outline information; and a step of calculating a distance between an object and a vehicle within the stereo image using the time difference information. |
