The present invention relates to a method for tracing and recovering a multi-rotor typed unmanned air vehicle which easily traces and recovers the vehicle when the vehicle is crashed or a communication with a controller is disconnected. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for recovering a multi-rotor comprising: a frame or a housing; a driving unit which contains a plurality of pairs of a propeller and a motor installed as a radial form on the frame or the housing; a communication unit communicating with a multi-rotor controller in the remote area; a control unit controlling a flight; and a power unit supplying electricity. The recovering method comprises the steps of: (A) the control unit sensing an abnormal state of the multi-rotor; (B) when an abnormal state is sensed, the control unit instructing the communication unit to regularly send distress signals; (C) the communication unit sending the distress signals; and (D) the multi-rotor controller in the remote area receiving the distress signals and calculating a direction of and distance from a location where the distress signals are sent. |
