摘要 The present invention relates to a boom cylinder control system for an excavator, comprising: a boom cylinder to realize a boom-up motion or a boom-down motion; a rod valve installed in the boom cylinder to be linked with a rod chamber placed on one side of a head and to discharge working fluid from the rod chamber; a head valve installed in the boom cylinder to be linked with a head chamber placed on the other side of the head and to discharge working fluid from the head chamber; a rod pressure sensor installed on a rod chamber to measure the rod pressure working on the rod chamber; a head pressure sensor installed on the head chamber to measure the head pressure working on the head chamber; and a control unit to control the motion of the boom cylinder by controlling the rod valve and the head valve based on a determination of whether the excavator is in the status of jack-up by using the rod pressure and the head pressure, respectively provided by the rod pressure sensor and the head pressure sensor. The present invention aims to provide a boom cylinder control system for an excavator, which is able to determine if the excavator is in the status of jack-up and to prevent a floating mode from operating when the excavator is determined to be in the status of jack-up.
