PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that appropriately changes the detection sensitivity of a human body sensor according to a heating temperature of a fixing part to perform image formation with appropriate timing for a user.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a human body sensor that detects a human body in a non-contact manner; a fixing part that fixes toner onto a printing sheet to perform image formation; a temperature sensor that detects a heating temperature of the fixing part; a filter that amplifies or attenuates an output signal from the human body sensor; and a control part that controls the human body sensor, the fixing part, the temperature sensor, and the filter. The control part controls the filter to amplify or attenuate the output signal according to the heating temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
