The present invention relates to an umbrella. Disclosed is an umbrella comprising: a pole which has a handle provided at the lower end thereof; a lifting ring which is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the upper end of the pole and moves up and down along the pole; a plurality of first umbrella ribs which are radially arranged along the outer circumferential surface of the lifting ring and are hingedly united; second umbrella ribs which have both ends hingedly united with the first umbrella ribs and the lifting ring; third umbrella ribs which are hingedly united with the first umbrella ribs and have a canopy provided on the outer surface thereof; and a winding unit which is connected with the lifting ring, rotates according to movement of the lifting ring to the lower end of the pole, winds a strap formed on the canopy, and winds the canopy. Since the umbrella is folded accordingly and the canopy is simultaneously automatically wound, a user does not need to manually wind a canopy wet due to rain, and thus the umbrella is convenient to use. |
