摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring system that can control the battery voltage of a battery pack with high precision by detecting abnormality occurring in the own system.SOLUTION: In a battery monitoring system 10, a battery monitor LSI 20 performs a detection operation, and the potential of an ALARM terminal is set to H level only when no wire breaking occurs between the ALARM terminal and an ALMterminal of a system controller 40 and further the state is not an abnormal state. In any case of a case where at least an abnormality detection block 22 of the battery monitor LSI 20 does not perform the detection operation, a case where the state is an abnormal state even when the detection operation is performed and a case where wire breaking occurs between the ALARM terminal and the ALMterminal of the system controller 40, the potential of the ALARM terminal, or a pattern on the substrate at a side nearer to the system controller 40 than the wire breaking site is set to L level. Therefore, the above cases are clearly discriminated from a case where all are normal states.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
