PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing film with an adhesive layer, which can solve a problem of reduction in the yield and has a sufficient function of cutting ultraviolet rays, imparted to the film, even when the polarizing film is thin, and to provide an image display device using the above polarizing film with an adhesive layer.SOLUTION: The polarizing film with an adhesive layer is to be used in an image display device, on a viewing side than an image display part of the image display device. The polarizing film with an adhesive layer has a polarizing film and an adhesive layer on both surfaces of the polarizing film; and the polarizing film has a polarizer and a transparent protective film on both surfaces of the polarizer. The transparent protective film on a viewing side of the polarizer shows a transmittance of 6% or more at a wavelength of 380 nm; and the adhesive layer on the viewing side of the polarizing film has a function of absorbing ultraviolet rays.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
