PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of securing traction performance and side slip resistance and improving uneven wear performance while employing a rib pattern.SOLUTION: Shallow grooves 31 continuously extending zigzag in a tire circumferential direction are formed on shoulder ribs 21, and shallow grooves 32 extending in a tire width direction and arranged at fixed intervals in the tire circumferential direction are each formed on inside mediate ribs 23 and center ribs 24. The depth of each of the shallow grooves 31 and 32 is set to 10 to 40% of that of a major groove. The wall surface of each area separated by the shallow groove 32 includes: center wall surfaces 51 and 61 located on the center part of the area; first wall surfaces 52 and 62 extending in the tire circumferential direction from one ends of the center surfaces 51 and 61; and second wall surfaces 53 and 63 extending in the tire circumferential direction from the other ends of the center wall surfaces 51 and 61. The first wall surfaces 52 and 62 are faced to each other sandwiching a center major groove 13 by the inside mediate ribs 23 and the center ribs 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
