摘要

The present invention pertains to a magenta ink for ink-jet recording including at least one of C. I. Pigment Red 147, 150, 176, 266, and 269 by 0.5-10 mass% based on the total mass of ink. The present invention can provide a magenta ink that is comprehensively excellent in aspects regarding light resistance, color developing ability, and storage stability. The present invention can also provide an ink set having excellent light resistance and color developing ability for each ink included in the ink set, and an ink-jet recording method using the ink set.
