METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CERAMIC, AND PIEZOELECTRIC ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic having excellent piezoelectric characteristics regardless of using a sintering aid, and to provide a piezoelectric actuator having the ceramic manufacture by the manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the ceramic includes: a step of preparing a barium titanate particle; a step of mixing the barium titanate with a first solution containing an organic component to obtain a mixture; a step of obtaining a first molding from the mixture; a step of: heat-treating the first molding to obtain a second molding; a step of preparing a second solution containing an organic metallic compound; a step of immersing the second molding into a second solution to obtain a third molding; and a step of firing the third molding.
